Der Zombie-Modus "Mob of the Dead" aus dem kommenden Uprising-DLC spielt in dem berühmten Gefängnis von Alcatraz. Der Trailer stellt die Charaktere vor und zeigt einige der Fallen und Extra-Waffen. Am 16. April 2013 wird das DLC-Paket "Uprising" für "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" für die Xbox 360 veröffentlicht - die anderen Plattformen werden wie gewohnt etwas später bedient:
