DayZ: Auf Steam Early Access verfügbar

Nach dem riesigen Erfolg der Arma-2-Modifikation DayZ hatte Bohemia Interactive vor anderthalb Jahren eine Standalone-Version des Konzepts angekündigt. Diese hat jetzt nach diversen Verschiebungen endlich den Stand erreicht, an dem die Mannen um Dean Hall das Ganze auch auf die Öffentlichkeit loslassen wollen.

Für 23,99 Euro kann man DayZ auf Steam erwerben - dank Early Access erhält man so die aktuelle Alpha-Fassung. Das Studio verweist darauf, dass es sich um eine unfertige Version handelt, die Fehler enthalten kann. Es legt nahe den Survival-Titel nur zu erwerben, falls man im Sinne des Early-Access-Programms an der Entwicklung beteiligt sein wolle.

"DayZ Early Access is your chance to experience DayZ as it evolves throughout its development process. Be aware that our Early Access offer is a representation of our core pillars, and the framework we have created around them. It is a work in progress and therefore contains a variety of bugs. We strongly advise you not to buy and play the game at this stage unless you clearly understand what Early Access means and are interested in participating in the ongoing development cycle."
